What it does

Rampage is an old keyword (mostly from early sets like Legends) that triggers when a creature with it is blocked by multiple creatures. Rampage N means the creature gets +N/+N for each blocker beyond the first. So a creature with Rampage 2 blocked by three creatures gets +4/+4 (two extra blockers × 2). The most common mistake: Rampage doesn't trigger if the creature is blocked by only one creature—you need at least two blockers to get any bonus. It also only counts blockers as declared; if a blocker is removed afterward, the bonus already locked in stays. It rewards being gang-blocked, not blocking. In Commander, Rampage is rare and weak by modern standards, since opponents simply block with a single creature to neutralize it. It's mostly a nostalgic curiosity rather than a competitive consideration.
