Why is this card good?

Demonic Tutor is the gold standard for unconditional tutoring — two mana, any card to hand, no strings attached. That efficiency is exactly why it's a Game Changer: it lets your deck play more consistently and find combo pieces, answers, or your best threat on demand. Any black deck can run it, but it shines brightest in: - Combo decks that need to assemble specific pieces (aristocrats with Blood Artist loops, infinite mana shells, etc.) - Toolbox/control decks that want silver-bullet answers - High-power/cEDH where consistency wins games The catch: it tutors to hand, so you still need the mana to cast what you find. It's a value multiplier, not a payoff itself — in a deck with no standout targets, you're just paying two mana to draw a card. When to skip it: lower-power, casual tables aiming for blind variance and battlecruiser fun, or precon-level pods where searchable tutors feel oppressive. If your bracket frowns on Game Changers, leave it out.
