• Boros Charm deals 4 damage to target player or planeswalker.
• Permanents you control gain indestructible until end of turn.
• Target creature gains double strike until end of turn.
Boros Charm is one of the best two-mana instants any red-white deck can run, and its value comes from flexibility. The indestructible mode is the headliner: it's a one-mana-efficient blowout protection that saves your entire board from a Wrath of God, Blasphemous Act, or Toxic Deluge. In a format where board wipes are the great equalizer, having a counter to them at instant speed is enormous.
The double strike mode turns this into a finisher in Voltron decks — Boros equipment/aura commanders like Wyleth or Akiri can suddenly deal lethal commander damage out of nowhere. The 4 damage mode is the weakest in multiplayer but useful for sniping a planeswalker or finishing a low-life opponent.
Who wants it: Any RW deck, especially go-wide tokens (protecting your army), Voltron, and aggressive lists that fear sweepers.
When to skip it: Slower, grindy decks that don't care about a single combat step or board protection — you'd rather have card advantage. But that's rare; this is near-autoinclude in Boros.
