LegalEDHREC #44
Search your library for a Forest card, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle.
Why is this card good?
Three Visits is a functional reprint of Nature's Lull/Nature's Lore — one of green's premier two-mana ramp spells. It's a near-auto-include in any green deck for good reason.
Why it's great: it fetches a Forest onto the battlefield (not your hand), so it effectively costs you nothing in tempo and puts you a full mana ahead next turn. Crucially, it grabs any card with the Forest type — meaning dual lands like Stomping Ground, Breeding Pool, Taiga, or Bayou. That untapped fixing is what separates it from Rampant Growth and makes it premium in multicolor decks.
Who wants it: literally every green Commander deck that isn't hyper-aggressive mono-green, but it shines brightest in two- to four-color builds running typed dual lands for color fixing.
When to skip it: if your manabase has no Forest-type duals and you're mono-green, Rampant Growth or Farseek-style effects are roughly equivalent — but you'd basically never cut this. It's a staple.
