Appa is a mono-white blink/value engine: flash him in at instant speed, airbend (exile) your own ETB permanents to reuse their enters-the-battlefield triggers and recast them for just {2}, generating a 1/1 Ally token every time you cast something from exile. You snowball board presence and value, then close with a wide token army or a flicker-fueled stax/toolbox plan.
