Gameplan

Donatello turns every token-making spell or ability into extra value by tacking on a Mutagen token (a colorless artifact with 'Sacrifice: target creature gets +1/+1 this turn') each time you create one or more tokens. You flood the board with creatures and artifacts in mono-blue, then leverage those bodies and artifacts for go-wide damage, artifact synergies, and sacrifice fodder. Turn to turn you ramp on artifacts, deploy token generators, and grind incremental advantage while protecting your engine with counters and bounce.

Lean into a partner via Character select to break mono-blue's color limitations—pairing with a sacrifice or anthem commander hugely sharpens the gameplan. Add token doublers (Doubling Season, Anointed Procession analog effects), artifact payoffs (Urza, Marionette Master, Disciple of the Vault), and untap/loop pieces to convert Mutagens into infinite mana or drain. Tighten the curve with fast mana (Sol Ring, Mana Vault) and protect the engine with counterspells and a free interaction package.
