Suki, Courageous Rescuer
The Commander
Other creatures you control get +1/+0.
Whenever another permanent you control leaves the battlefield during your turn, create a 1/1 white Ally creature token. This ability triggers only once each turn.
Guide
Gameplan
Suki anchors a mono-white go-wide army, pumping your whole board with a +1/+0 anthem while quietly building extra bodies every turn. You flood the table with creatures and tokens, swing wide for chip and commander damage, and use cheap fodder leaving play (sacrifice, fetchlands cracking, tokens being consumed) to net a free Ally each turn. The plan is to develop a critical mass of attackers, then alpha-strike or convert tokens into burst damage.
Strengths
- Anthem effect makes even token swarms hit hard and survive small board wipes better than 1/1s alone
- Free value engine: any permanent leaving on your turn replaces itself with a body, so sac outlets and fetchlands generate cards
- Cheap three-mana commander that's easy to recast and immediately impacts the board
- Mono-white consistency with deep access to token producers and anthems
Weaknesses
- The token trigger fires only once per turn and only on your turn, so it's a slow grind, not explosive value
- No evasion or trample baked in—wide boards stall against bigger blockers
- Anthem is only +1/+0, so toughness-based sweepers and pingers still wreck your team
- Mono-white struggles with card advantage and interaction outside its wheelhouse
Key Cards
- Skullclamp — Sacrificing 1/1 Allies for two cards each draws cards AND triggers Suki's token, refilling the board.
- Anointed Procession — Doubles every token you make, including the Allies Suki generates and your wide producers.
- Intangible Virtue — Stacks another anthem and vigilance onto your token army so you can attack and defend.
- Ashnod's Altar — A free sac outlet that ramps and reliably triggers Suki's once-per-turn token each turn.
- Cathars' Crusade — Every creature and token entering grows your whole team, snowballing a go-wide board fast.
- Ezuri's Predation — Mass token maker that floods the board to maximize the anthem and overwhelm opponents.
Upgrade Path
Push power by adding more free sac outlets and token doublers (Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Parallel Lives) so Suki's trigger and your generators compound. Add an aristocrats payoff package (Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport-style drains in white are limited, so lean on Reconnaissance and combat tricks) plus efficient anthems and a recursion piece like Sun Titan. Tighten the curve with strong mono-white ramp (Smothering Tithe, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt) and protection (Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention's white analog Flawless Maneuver) to survive board wipes.

Win Conditions
- ▸Alpha strike with a pumped, wide creature board for lethal combat damage
- ▸Anthem-boosted token swarm grinding opponents down over several turns
- ▸Aristocrats drain via Blood Artist effects as fodder leaves and re-enters
- ▸Overrun-style finishers (Craterhoof Behemoth is off-color; use Triumph of the Hordes alternatives like Coat of Arms/Overwhelming Stampede equivalents in white via Cathars' Crusade and trample anthems)
Archetypes
- Tokens — Suki's anthem plus her per-turn token make a wide swarm strategy her natural home.
- Aristocrats — Sacrificing permanents each turn triggers Suki, pairing with sac payoffs and drain effects.
- Blink — Permanents flickering away count as leaving the battlefield, netting a token while you reuse ETBs.
- Go-Wide Aggro — A cheap anthem commander wants to dump creatures and attack en masse for the kill.
