, : Create a token that's a copy of another target creature or artifact you control, except it's an artifact in addition to its other types. It gains haste. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step.
Saheeli copies your best creature or artifact for a turn, letting you abuse enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers while building toward explosive value or an outright combo finish. You ramp into artifacts, deploy a value engine, then untap with Saheeli to generate temporary copies each turn. Most lists either grind incremental advantage off ETBs or assemble a loop that turns the temporary token into infinite mana, damage, or board presence.
Cheap two-mana commander that comes down early and is hard to interact with profitably
Copies artifacts as well as creatures, opening huge combo and value space
Haste on the token means immediate attack triggers and aggression
Repeatable activated ability that dodges sorcery-speed removal windows
Requires both U and R untapped plus tapping Saheeli, so she's mana-hungry and slow without ramp
Tokens are sacrificed each end step, so value is fleeting unless you have ETB or sacrifice payoffs
Vulnerable to graveyard/tap-down hate and creature removal aimed at the targeted permanent
Two-color identity limits access to broad answers and combo pieces
End the turn before the sacrifice trigger resolves to keep the copied permanent permanently.
Add fast mana and ramp (Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Dockside, signets) so you can activate Saheeli multiple times per turn, then include untap/blink enablers like Thassa and Deadeye Navigator to double dip. Lean into a dedicated combo line such as Dockside plus a cost reducer for infinite mana, and pack Izzet interaction (Swan Song, Mystic Confluence, Dack Fayden) to protect the engine. Sundial of the Infinite and proliferate of copy effects let you keep the best tokens permanently for the highest power ceilings.
