Why is this card good?
Thought Vessel is one of the most ubiquitous mana rocks in Commander for good reason: it's a colorless two-mana rock that any deck can run, and the no-maximum-hand-size clause is genuinely relevant in a format full of card advantage.
Why it's great: A turn-2 rock that ramps you toward your commander is always welcome, and the hand-size rider is pure upside. In decks that draw aggressively — Niv-Mizzet, The Locust God, big blue draw-go shells — you can hoard cards instead of discarding at end of turn. That extra reach matters more than people think.
Who wants it: Basically any deck that wants a Mind Stone or Fellwar Stone but values the hand-size bonus. Especially good in spellslinger, group-hug, and grindy control decks.
When to skip it: It produces only colorless mana, which can be awkward in heavy color-pip decks. If you need WW or UU early, a Signet or Talisman is often better. Cut it if you don't actually overdraw cards.
