The Commander
At the beginning of each combat, creatures you control gain first strike until end of turn if a creature you control has first strike. The same is true for flying, deathtouch, double strike, haste, hexproof, indestructible, lifelink, menace, reach, skulk, trample, and vigilance.

Gameplan
Build a wide white army, then stack relevant keywords on a single creature so Odric copies them to your whole board each combat. The dream is one creature with double strike, trample, lifelink, flying, indestructible, and more — suddenly your entire team becomes an unblockable, evasive, indestructible wrecking crew that ends games out of nowhere.
Strengths
- Turns a single well-equipped creature into a board-wide keyword soup, enabling explosive alpha strikes
- Mono-white gives access to deep token, anthem, and equipment support
- Indestructible/hexproof sharing makes your board extremely resilient to removal and combat
- Cheap to recur and recast; the effect triggers every combat automatically
Weaknesses
- Heavily commander-dependent — without Odric the deck is just a vanilla white go-wide pile
- Vulnerable to board wipes before keywords come online and to edicts/sacrifice effects
- Mono-white card advantage and ramp are historically limited
- Needs the right keyword sources in play; clunky draws fizzle the combat trigger

- Akroma, Angel of Fury — A single attacker carrying many keywords at once that Odric immediately shares with the whole team.
- Odric, Master Tactician — Stacks with the Marshal's keyword sharing and lets you dictate blocks during your alpha strikes.
- Swiftfoot Boots — Grants haste and hexproof to Odric, protecting him and turning on those keywords for the board.
- True Conviction — Hands out double strike and lifelink so Odric copies both, doubling damage and gaining massive life.
- Archangel of Thune — Lifelink plus its +1/+1 trigger snowballs your whole team while feeding the keyword engine.
- Felidar Sovereign — A common lifegain win-con that pairs with the lifelink Odric spreads across your board.
Upgrade Path
Tighten the curve toward proven multi-keyword sources (Akroma, Adriana's Valor, Brave the Sands effects) and add protection like Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Boros Charm to survive wipes. Improve mono-white's weak spots with ramp (Smothering Tithe, Sol Ring) and card draw (Mentor of the Meek, Welcoming Vampire), and add redundant haste enablers so the team swings the turn keywords come online.

- Aggro Combat — The deck wants to attack every turn, and Odric's evasion and double strike sharing close games fast.
