Spider-Man, Brooklyn Visionary
The Commander
Web-slinging (You may cast this spell for
if you also return a tapped creature you control to its owner's hand.)
When Spider-Man enters, search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.
Guide
Gameplan
Cast Spider-Man cheaply via Web-slinging by bouncing a tapped creature, ramp into a basic land each time he enters, then abuse repeated bounce-and-recast loops to chain enters-the-battlefield triggers. The deck plays as a mono-green ramp/blink-style midrange shell that floods the board, accelerates into big threats, and grinds value while building toward an overwhelming late game.
Strengths
- Cheap, repeatable commander casting that dodges commander tax via Web-slinging
- Free land ramp every time he re-enters, fueling explosive starts
- Mono-green consistency and access to the best ramp and big creatures
- Synergizes with tap effects, vigilance, and ETB payoffs for value loops
Weaknesses
- Low ceiling without strong ETB or sacrifice payoffs—body alone does little
- Mono-green's weak interaction, no real removal for problematic noncreature permanents
- Bouncing your own creatures can lose tempo against fast aggro
- Relies on already having a tapped creature to use Web-slinging discount
Key Cards
- Panharmonicon — Doubles Spider-Man's land-search trigger and every other ETB you chain off bouncing.
- Temur Sabertooth — Lets you bounce your own creatures at will to reuse ETBs and enable Web-slinging repeatedly.
- Craterhoof Behemoth — Mono-green's premier finisher to convert the wide, ramped board into lethal damage.
- Cloudstone Curio — Bounce-loop engine that recurs creatures to abuse enters-the-battlefield value.
- Ezuri, Renegade Leader — Overrun outlet and recursion that pairs with a creature-heavy mono-green board.
Upgrade Path
Add more bounce engines (Temur Sabertooth, Cloudstone Curio) and ETB payoffs (Panharmonicon, value creatures) to turn recasting into a true loop. Improve the ramp suite with fast mana (Sol Ring, Carpet of Flowers, Cradle) and stack multiple finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes so you reliably close once ahead.

Win Conditions
- ▸Craterhoof Behemoth or overrun-style alpha strike for lethal combat damage
- ▸Grinding incremental ETB value into an unbeatable board state
- ▸Ramping into giant threats like Ghalta or Vorinclex faster than opponents
Archetypes
- Ramp/Stompy — Repeated free lands and cost reduction power out oversized green threats fast.
- Blink/Bounce Value — Web-slinging and bounce effects let you reuse ETB creatures every turn.
- Tokens/Go-Wide — Cheap recasting fills the board while ramp fuels mass pump finishers.
