Titania, Nature's Force
The Commander
You may play Forests from your graveyard.
Whenever a Forest you control enters, create a 5/3 green Elemental creature token.
Whenever an Elemental you control dies, you may mill three cards.
Guide
Gameplan
Titania turns landfall into an army by making a 5/3 Elemental every time a Forest enters, then recurs those Forests from the graveyard for repeatable value. You ramp into Titania around turn 5-6, then chain land drops, fetches, and mass-land effects to flood the board with beaters while milling yourself for more fuel. You win by going wide with fat Elementals and overwhelming the table with land-based recursion.
Strengths
- Generates huge token bodies off something you do anyway—playing lands.
- Built-in graveyard recursion lets Forests come back over and over for value engines.
- Mono-green gives access to the best ramp and the format's strongest land synergies.
- Resilient to wraths since the engine refuels from the yard and continued land drops.
Weaknesses
- Many tokens are 5/3, dying to almost any chip damage or a single -3 effect.
- Slow without enablers—just casting Titania alone does little immediately.
- Mono-green struggles to interact with spells and combos.
- Relies on extra land drops or fetch/Forest-bounce effects to truly snowball.
Key Cards
- Scapeshift — Sacrifices your lands to fetch a pile of Forests, creating a token for each one in a single explosive turn.
- Splendid Reclamation — Returns every land from your graveyard to the battlefield at once, making a 5/3 for each Forest.
- Crucible of Worlds — Lets you replay sacrificed and fetched lands every turn, turning fetchlands into repeatable token engines.
- Azusa, Lost but Seeking — Two extra land drops per turn directly multiply your Elemental production.
- Cultivate — Ramp that can put Forests into hand and library while feeding the graveyard for later recursion.
- Field of the Dead — With many distinct land names, it adds zombies on top of every Titania trigger for a second go-wide engine.
Upgrade Path
Add more extra-land-drop effects (Exploration, Burgeoning, Oracle of Mul Daya) and mass land recursion (Splendid Reclamation, Scapeshift, World Shaper) to maximize triggers per turn. Include payoff finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Beastmaster Ascension, or Pathbreaker Ibex to convert your token board into one-shot kills. Round out with fetch effects and Crucible of Worlds for repeatable Forest bounces, plus mono-green ramp to deploy Titania ahead of curve.

Win Conditions
- ▸Swing wide with an army of 5/3 Elementals, often pumped by an overrun effect.
- ▸Craterhoof Behemoth or Overwhelming Stampede alpha strike for lethal trample.
- ▸Grind incremental token value until you out-board the table, closing with combat.
Archetypes
- Lands — Every Forest entering—including from graveyard recursion and fetches—triggers token creation, rewarding land-heavy builds.
- Tokens — Titania floods the board with 5/3 Elementals just by playing lands, enabling go-wide overrun plans.
- Ramp/Stompy — Mono-green ramp powers out Titania early and chains land drops into a wide, beefy board.
